I have no doubt that you are familiar with "Misconceptions" by Naomi Wolf. I read this prior to my first childs delivery. Very powerful stuff.
I will definitely be watching this as well. It literally DISGUSTS me that these kinds of practices are happening all around us and that most just blindly go a long with all the C*** they are told by their Dr's without questioning anything.
I also find it incredible that no one seems to remember that birth is a NATURAL process. Amazing, quite amazing.
I listened once AGAIN to a friend this past summer, who had been told by her ob/gyn she HAD to have a second c-section as her pelvis was "the size of a child" and too small for her to deliver her baby vaginally. WHATEVER!!!!
I have another friend who asked for an elective c-section as she couldn't bear the thought of going through the delivery process with everyone "looking down there!" Of course her Dr agreed, but her insurance company actually wouldn't pay for it.
Sorry if I sound annoyed, but this kind of stuff gets me so riled up! :)

I heard about it somewhere else, and was pretty excited. I am hoping my local Birth circle group will get a copy and have a viewing!
